EQUIP Counseling is founded in Kirkland and run by Sarah Hiemstra Dellinger. She is a Pacific Northwest native, born and raised in the greater Seattle area. She migrated south to for her undergraduate work but was drawn back to be closer to family after graduation. Sarah is happily married and stays busy raising four kids ranging from 14-23. Outside of the therapy room you might find her driving carpool, practicing or teaching yoga, cheering on her kids from the sidelines, or trying to stay awake through an entire movie with her husband. She is passionate about her family, yoga, coffee and trying to bring a little more balance into the lives of her clients.
Sarah is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT), and a board member of the Seattle Counselors Association. Psychology Today Profile
